American Pharmacy Cooperative Inc (APCI) is member-owned group purchasing organization established in 1984 to protect and promote the interests of independent pharmacies to improve their position in a competitive marketplace. Today they help more than 1,600 member pharmacies grow and succeed.
Objective
To help locally owned member pharmacies differentiate themselves from their large national competitors, APCI wanted to increase awareness of the pharmacies and the services they offer with an emphasis on being local, friendly and knowledgeable.
Approach
When American Pharmacy Cooperative, Inc. was looking to reward a specific segment of high-performing stores known as “Choice-Members” they turned to TideSmart for strategy, campaign development, creative production, and media buying — for 825 Choice Members! The digital campaign included both general Health Mart branded ads and co-branded pharmacy specified ads with targeting for each location.

Results
With only a 3-week planning and production window, TideSmart produced and administered a 9-week, multi-tactic digital marketing plan featuring store-specific ads for 825 individual community pharmacies that won a MARCOM Gold Award in Digital Marketing.
